The system is excellent, super fast and handles transactions when the Eftpos system or network goes down ( as long as the merchant bank has set this FREE facility ) . "As a large nationwide brand within the hospitality industry, with service and reliability in mind, we set out and compared a large number of EFTPOS Terminal providers to provide services to our franchisee’s and a better overall service to our customers. We found Direct Payment Solutions to be the only option for us. Everything from the sales documentation, to the physical installation of the terminals were completed with ease, with no configuration required. The ability to have our terminals operate over a standard DSL Internet Connection meant that we saved significant amounts collectively throughout the franchise on additional phone lines, and could provide a quick and effective experience to our customers with sub-second processing times. A major factor in our decision to move to Direct Payment Solutions, was the offline-mode, which was also fully integrated with our Point of Sale Provider – Wizbang Technologies. Since installing the terminals we have had a couple of DSL outages at some of our sites, but this didn’t stop business. Whether it was during the dinner rush, or midnight Saturday, our sites continued to process transactions without complication. DPS is an integrated solution with our POS provider, meaning our hospitality staff were no longer required to manually key transactions into a terminal – completely eliminating the possibility of human error. Both the Sales and Technical staff ‘bent over backwards’ to fulfil any urgent requests for our franchisees, though this seemed like second-nature and never an inconvenience. It is safe to say that DPS’ customer service is as quick and reliable as their transaction processing! As the decision-maker, installer, and end-user, I would not hesitate to recommend Direct Payment Solutions to any business owner that could do with one less thing keeping them awake at night, whether it be in Hospitality, or Retail." The new terminals arrived in the post and took us less than 5 mins to install each one, no technician or specialist required. It almost seemed to good to be true that it was that easy. Not a single error or help desk call required. Our previous integrated Eftpos provider required a guy to spend an entire day setting them up, then had to come back the next day to finish off (we have 5 terminals). Processing credit card payments from customers is effortless, thus allowing us to get on with the rest of our business. The software is so easy to use and the DPS customer service and support team is amazing. In a nutshell the DPS terminals and software do what you want them to do, without errors, at faster speeds than other suppliers and they have the latest version 6 software that all terminals need to be upgraded to by the middle of next year.
